I made a project for a theme very close to me.

I decided to investigate the true reasons of zoos to exist today and then transmit my position against this structure, leaving the viewer to make his own decision and reflection.

Supporting animals in danger of extinction, educating and bringing people closer to animals would seem to be the reason for the existence of the modern zoo. However, these points seem to be overshadowed by the entertainment performed within the structures, which attracts the public by increasing their business.

The needs and life of animals must be the top priority for the construction of these centers.

I realized three different products for this sensitive campaign to transmit my thesis, to words into visual communication.

The first one are a series of videos, the second one some posters and the third one cards.

All the products are made hypothetically for the Italian association “LAV” that fights for animals rights in many different fields.

There’s a slogan for all the products: “e poi ho incontrato l’uomo…”

I realized 20 posters of different animals that show them behind the bars of a cage.
